Richard M." Griff" Griffin, 76, a longtime resident of New Orleans and Metairie and a resident of Lacombe, Louisiana for the past 15 years, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, in Lacombe.

Griff was born November 5, 1946, in New Orleans, to Robert M. Griffin and Margie Weber Griffin.

Richard graduated from De Le Salle in 1964, Graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1968, and was a member of KDT fraternity. He was employed by 3M for 40 years, retiring in 2009.

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy Drury Griffin of 32 years, his daughter Leigh Christine Griffin Guidry (Tyler), and grandson Cecil Griffin Guidry.

Richard was a longtime member of Metairie Country Club, OTMAC, and numerous antique car clubs.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday January 16 ^th , 2023, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell Louisiana, 70460. Friends may visit beginning at 11:00 am and a Memorial service will begin at 12:00 noon. A celebration of life will follow at Janie Browns!
