Richard Edward Gulino Sr., age 87, of Slidell, LA, passed into eternal rest on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alice Rist Gulino; sisters, Barbara Gulino Gonzales, and Betty Gulino Musacchia; his loving wife Lynne Nores Gulino; and daughter in law Suzy Gulino.

Richard is survived by his children Marlene Gulino Moore (David), Richard Edward Gulino Jr. (Kim), Michael Edward Gulino (Vicki), David Wayne Gulino (Beverly), Vincent Edward Gulino (Peggy), Roxanne Vestal (Bubba); stepchildren, Tommy Mire (Tami), Betty DeLeo (Michael), and Carrie Bernard (Kurt); his brother Joseph Gulino Jr. (Carmen); and his loving companion Barbara Martinez. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.

Richard was born on July 8, 1936. He was a life-long resident of Slidell and graduated from Slidell High School. He worked as a bus driver with the St. Tammany Parish School Board for 40 years, was active with the Slidell Farmers Market, and was the owner of Treeland Christmas Trees. His passions included being a founding member of the "Sons of Italy" organization, coaching little league baseball, and being active in the Slidell business community.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 1:00 P.M.

Visitation on Saturday after 11:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY to be held at a later date.
