Richard C. Noggerath Sr., passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the age of 89. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 18, 1937, to William Noggerath and Josephine DiCarlo Noggerath.

Richard was preceded by his wife Linda Rae Bayle Noggerath; his son, Alvin Noggerath; his brother, Ronnie Noggerath; his sister, Ann Soule Noggerath; his mother, Josephine DiCarlo Noggerath and his father, William Noggerath.

He is survived by his sons Richard Noggerath Jr. (Mary Browning Noggerath), Chris Noggerath (Alma Limberg), and Mark Noggerath; his daughter-in-law, Marlene Landry Noggerath; his brothers, Fred Noggerath and John Noggerath; four grandchildren, Samantha Waltman Noggerath (Alex), Elisabeth Noggerath (fiancé Josh Wilson), Britney Cain Noggerath (Michael), Al Noggerath (Sean Griffin). Richard is also survived by two great grandchildren Piper Waltman and Wyatt Waltman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard graduated from Delgado Community College with a degree in Drafting. Professionally, he worked for Walk Haydel, for over 35 years in the oil and gas industry. He loved spending quality time at his camp on Lake Pontchartrain.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, LA on Saturday, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 A.M.

Visitation on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

An Inurnment will take place at Cypress Grove Cemetery at a later date.
