Robert "Bob" "Pops" Cresson Sr., entered the Kingdom of Heaven to be with Our Lord on July 21, 2022 at the age of 89.

Bob lived a full and happy life and was always there with a joke or story to make those around him laugh. He joined the US Army as a young man and served our country proudly. This allowed him the opportunity to travel to many different countries and pick up on their languages and cultures.

He was preceded in death by his lifelong sweetheart and Wife, Dorothy Ponder Cresson. He and Dorothy were married in 1958 and shared 56 wonderful years together. He was the Son of the late Charles Cresson, Jr. and Camille Mangin Cresson. His late siblings include Charles Cresson (Glory), Alice C. Arrigo (August), Lucille C. LeBon (Walter), Louise Duvernay (Eddie), Marie Antoinette "Nettie" Cox (Ralph), and Eugene Cresson (Norletta).

Bob was the beloved Father to Wilma (Don) Walley, Robert Jr. (Johnell) Cresson, Tom (Karen) Cresson, the late Harold (Amy) Cresson, and Mike (Lisa) Cresson.  He was the adoring Grandfather to Enjolie (Russell) Morel, Tony (Rachel) Walley, Kraig Cresson, Scott Walley, Jessica (Brendon) Myers, Victoria Cresson, Heather Cresson, Michael (Megan) Cresson, John Cresson, Caroline Cresson and Zachary Cresson. He also had 9 Great-Grandchildren. He had a large and loving family who will miss him dearly and we will make him proud by carrying on all of his life lessons, jokes and stories for years to come.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will follow in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Visitation on Monday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
