It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Paul Davis, age 71, of Chalmette, Louisiana, who left us on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024. A beloved father and grandfather, he is survived by his three children: Matthew Davis (Kate), Timothy Davis (Marie), Sarah Davis (Arron), and his sister, Elaine Howell. He was a proud grandfather to Rose Davis and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Willie and Myrtle Davis, and his brother, Bill Davis. He is also remembered by his former wife, Donna Schmalz, who held a special place in his heart.

Bobby was a man of unwavering faith, deeply dedicated to his Christian beliefs. His faith guided him throughout his life, providing strength and comfort to both himself and those around him. We find solace in knowing that he is no longer suffering but is now at peace in heaven, embraced by the eternal love of God.

Bobby was a loyal person who valued his relationships deeply. His presence brought joy and warmth to those around him. His legacy is carried on by his loving family, who will continue to honor his memory and the values he instilled in them.

Bobby will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 24th, between 2 - 4 PM at 1 Percent Lists Legacy at 1007 E. Judge Perez Dr, Chalmette, LA, 70043. A private service will be held for close family and friends.
