Ronald Robert Anderson, of Slidell, LA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10,2022 at the age of 86.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Serio Anderson, father of Eric Anderson (Cecelia), Susan Sweat (David), grandfather of Corbin and Dylan Anderson, Preston and Dustin MacLaughlin, Sierra, Franco Guifarro, Savannah and David Sweat, and great grandfather of Madison Guifarro.

He is also survived by his sister, Linda Brown (Walter), sisters-in-law, Mary Anderson, Catherine Lambert, Patricia Matthews, Eunice Serio and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ron was a native of Boston, MA, was a proud graduate of Boston Latin School and the Colorado School of Mines. Employed by Chevron Oil, Ron retired after almost three decades.

He loved science and nature. An avid birder, he assisted in the annual wild bird counts across Texas, New Mexico and across the Mexican Border.

He characterized strength of character and the strongest will of anyone I've ever known.

Ron will be remembered at a later date at a Memorial Service.
