Rosemary "Billie" Hebbler, 85, a lifelong resident of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 5, 2024, in Slidell.

Rosemary was born July 14, 1938, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Samual and Olga Ellis. In 1955 she married George R. Hebbler Jr. in Slidell.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Larry Ellis, Chuck Ellis, Richard Ellis, Tommy Ellis; three sisters, Myra Jenkins, Linda Davis, Kitty Frierson.

She is survived by her husband, George R. Hebbler Jr.; three children, George "Rusty" Hebbler III, Sandra Hayes (Butch), Lori Wentworth (David); eight grandchildren, Jodette Hebbler, Charles "Buddy" Freeman (April), Cody Howard (Dallas), Ashley Putfark, Taylor Putfark (Brandy), Adam Wentworth, (Monica) Kia Wentworth(Elijah), James Wentworth (Brittany); thirteen great-grandchildren, Jordan Sanders, Lexiss Peters, Payton Freeman, Porter Freeman, Briley Rose Anthony, Kaitlyn Cheney, Tyler Cheney, Bryson Cheney, Jeanne Marie Wentworth, Austen Wentworth, Henry Wentworth, Isabella Young, William Young; great-great-grandchild, Eirian Rose Molina; and one sister, Faith Jones (George).

The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice, Crystal Magee Williams, for the love and care shown to their mother, and special thanks to Dennis Cancienne for providing gourmet meals to Mrs. Hebbler

A private burial will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
