Avid fisherman and hunter, Roy A. Bowman, 73, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2024 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. He was born November 27, 1950 in Shreveport, LA, the son of Zollie Bowman and Mary Edna Bowman.  Roy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ann Lawrence Bowman, their daughter, Shelby Ann Bowman, and her wife, Jackie Davis.  Those who wish to remember Roy in a special way are invited to join family and friends in a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, at the family home, 1551 Chancer Lane, in Slidell.
