Safly Jerome "Jack" Faciane, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on March 11th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Jack was the cherished husband of 53 years to Macy Waguespack Faciane, who he leaves behind.

He was a devoted father to six beautiful daughters: Arlene Dale, Lou Ann Faciane, Sharon Sweeney, Lisa Kelly, Donna (Mark) Aylor, and Helen (Daniel) Sassone. Jack is survived by his brother Huey Faciane and sister Genevieve Kennedy. One of the great joys of Jack's life was being a Paw-paw to 13 wonderful grandchildren: Brandon (Tiffany) Dale, Brittany (Jon) Fogg, Jeramie Campo, Ryan Campo, Miles "Sonny" (Holly) Odle, Elliott Bowser, Angel (Mark) Smith, Ashley (Joshua) Barrois, Jennifer Kelly, Jena (David) Gibbs, Justin Aylor, Karli Sassone, and Lindsey Sassone. Jack was blessed with 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Nellie.

Jack proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Navy. He was a Methods Analyst for Western Electric and retired after 28 years. He was a devout Catholic, who loved the Lord with all his heart. His family is confident that he has joined his savior, Jesus Christ, and takes great comfort in knowing that he has gone home to his eternal resting place. Jack is now reunited in Heaven with his parents, Edna Rabalais Faciane and Edward Joseph Faciane Sr., along with his siblings, Russell Faciane, Conrad Faciane, Allen Faciane, Edward Faciane Jr., Bruce Faciane, Rosemary Clockworthy, Bernadine Dawson, Nicholas Faciane, Warren Faciane, and Roger Faciane. He also joins his granddaughter, Annette Marie Odle Boyer Downs and his great-grandson, Michael Lindsey Smith.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA., on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 400 Westchester Blvd, Slidell at 12:00 O'clock noon.
