Sally Elaine Fish Piske, 68, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2023. Born on February 8, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Sally's warm and nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family. She played a significant role in raising several of her siblings and was affectionately known as "Aunt Sally" to many of her children's friends. She had a natural gift for making others feel loved and supported. In her spare time, Sally was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers football teams. She would eagerly cheer them on, bringing excitement and enthusiasm to every game. Sally's love for her teams was a testament to her unwavering loyalty and her ability to find joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Sally was a retired Customer Service Manager who dedicated herself to providing excellent service to those she worked with. Her dedication and strong work ethic were admired by her colleagues and will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. Music, dancing, cooking, and baking were among Sally's cherished hobbies. She found solace and joy in creating delicious meals and treats for her loved ones. Sally's kitchen was always filled with laughter and the comforting aroma of her culinary delights. Above all, she treasured spending time with her family, creating lasting memories and sharing in their joys and sorrows.

Sally will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Alan Piske, her children Ricky Fish (Sheila), Tammy Waits (Joe), Billie "B.J." Aguilard, Brandon Piske (Holly), her grandchildren Brittany Billiot (David), Jodie Waits, Tanner Waits, Mylie Fish, Thomas Waits, Jax Piske, her great-grandchildren Adleigh Brignac, and Masyn Billiot, as well as her sisters Cynthia Pearce, Theresa Albarado (Anthony), Donna Eckenstaler (Jeff), Melonie Johnson (Richard), Claudia Gaubert (Warren), Debra Piner-Collins (Robbie), and Sandra Turnage (Herbert), brothers Shannon Fish (Ruby), Patrick Martin, and Dale Greenlee (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her father William "Bill" Fish, stepmother Hilda Fish, mother Lillian Frances "Fran" Sprong, stepfather Arthur "Art" Sprong, her brothers Michael Fish, Arthur "Buck" Fish, and Kevin Greenlee, her sister Donna Roberts, her nephew Jason Veazey, and her niece Brittney Fish Mitchell.

A service to celebrate Sally's life will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, located at 910 Cross Gates Blvd. in Slidell. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral mass beginning promptly at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1751 Gause Blvd. West in Slidell.

At the conclusion of services, all are invited back to the church for the repast. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Heritage Manor of Slidell and St. Catherine's Hospice, for all the care rendered to Sally during her time at the nursing home and on hospice care. Both made Sally's last days much brighter and comfortable up until her passing.
