Samuel Franklin Searcy, of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the age of 85. Born April 12, 1940, he was a devoted husband to Patricia Searcy for 36 years until her passing. Together, they shared a love of adventure, traveling across the United States in their retirement.

Samuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia; his son, Steven Searcy; and his stepson, Terry Toledano. He is survived by his sons, Scott Searcy, and Charlie Searcy; his stepdaughters, Michelle T. Cook and Tammy T. Curtis; and his daughters-in-law, Johna, Jessica, and Linda. Across all branches of the family, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

His grandchildren include Brandon Searcy, Blair Champagne, Reese Jackson, Dana Searcy, Ashley LeBoeuf, Joshua Cook, Maleri Curtis Schubert, Meaghen Curtis, Kristie Toledano Connelly, and Ella Ashley and Emmit Ashley. His great-grandchildren include Jude Mendez, Jhett Mendez, Cameron, Tristan, and Julian LeBoeuf.

Samuel will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and the joy he found in each moment. His legacy lives on in the love he gave and the family he cherished.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 35300 Home Estate Dr. Slidell, LA. 70460 on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 2:00 P.M.

Visitation at the church on Tuesday after 1:00 P.M. until funeral time.
