Sanjay Parmar, a native of Great Britain and a resident of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away at the age of 54, on June 16, 2024.

Sanjay was born on March 7th, 1970, to Ambubhai Dhanjibhai Parmar and Ramilaben Parmar in Leicester, England, and was the eldest brother to Pritee & Bhavna. He attended Abbey Primary School and John Ellis Secondary School in Leicester, England. After school he attended Queen Elizabeth College and graduated with a degree in Accounting. In 1996 Sanjay moved across the pond to marry Dena. Sanjay soon began his career in car sales and was tremendously successful. Sanjay was recognized as Top Salesperson multiple times throughout his career. He was an astute businessperson with success in running numerous businesses. In 2015 Sanjay and Dena opened Which Wich in Slidell.

Sanjay will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Sanjay had a quiet, private soul and was a man of few words. He was a big fan of Liverpool FC and Formula 1. Sanjay was a gourmet foodie and liked dressing in the finest clothes. More than anything else, Sanjay loved watching his boys play soccer. He spent many weekends attending soccer tournaments to support and cheer on his sons. He also loved to travel with family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Dhanjibhai & Maniben Parmar; maternal grandparents Vallabhai & Jelliben Parmar; paternal aunt Kantaben Champaneria.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dena Sanjay Parmar & sons, Jai (18) & Kishan (16) Parmar; parents Ambubhai Dhanjibhai Parmar & Ramilaben Parmar of Leicester, England; Sisters Pritee Parmar, her partner Midge Purewal of Coventry, and her daughter Laila of Leicester, England & Bhavna Freeman and her husband Jon of Market Harborough, England and their daughters Keira and Kensie; Uncle, Ishvarlal (Sumitra) Parmar of Brewton, Alabama; Cousin Raj (Priyanka) Parmar of Brewton, Alabama.

His surviving extended family are Mother-in-law Bharti (Pravin - deceased) Solanki of Slidell, sisters-in-law Rakhi (Vikram) Sharma of New York and Julie (Niraj) Kapur of New Jersey; nieces Zara & Sameera & nephew Rohan

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,

1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. with Funeral Services immediately following.
