Savanna "Van" Lynn Martin, 37, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Savanna was born February 2, 1989, in Jacksonville, Florida to Toki and Tammy Martin.

Savanna was a free spirit, loved her family, friends and recently her two cats "Mookie" and "Kidden".  They were very special to her.  She loved hanging out in the backyard and by the pond.  She would get most excited when talking about planting a garden to grow fruits and vegetables.  She wanted to sell them and had picked out a business name: "Farmer in the Dell".  Savanna had obtained her horticulture license, to which she was very proud.  Savanna enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, gaming, and listening to her favorite music. She will be dearly missed and always loved by her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandmother "Grammy" Sally Windows; grandfather, "Happy Pappy" Harold Lewis; step-grandfather, "Paw-Paw Bert and grandmother "Mimi" Melody Ballay.

She is survived by her mother and father, Tammy and Toki Martin; siblings, Austin Martin and Zander Martin; grandfather, "Paw-Paw" Emmett Martin; step-grandmother, Margie Martin; uncles, John Martin, Aaron Martin, Frank Valentine and Drexel Lewis; and her aunts, Manette Martin and Laura Martin. She is also survived by many first and second cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Saint Barnabas Anglican Church, 201 Norwood Street, Picayune, MS. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. Smart-Casual attire is suggested.

Visitation at the church from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
