Sharon L. Wilson, 84, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Mandeville.

Sharon was born April 16, 1941, in Atmore, Alabama, to Webb and Luverne Kirkland.  In the early 70's, she moved with her family to Slidell, Louisiana. Sharon retired in 2002 after over 40 years' experience as a nurse.  In 2000 she moved to Mandeville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lee Smith, and a brother, Dennison Kirkland.

She is survived by five children, Cynthia Jean Crawford (Guy), Viola Lou Estain, Edward Smith, Sharon Diane Smith (Janet), Timothy Leroy Smith; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, LA 70460.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am followed by the funeral service at 9:00am.

Burial will be in Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Castleberry, Alabama.
