Sheila Griffiths Moore, 81, a 50-year resident of St. Tammany Parish, passed away amongst family members on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, in her home in Lacombe, LA.

Sheila was born on March 14th, 1941 in Shifnal, England, to Edith and William Thomas Griffiths.

She is survived by her loving husband Rob; three sons; Chris, Andrew, and Peter; beloved grandchildren Ariel, Austin, Alyssa, and Rachel, and great grandchildren Adeline and Charlotte.

Sheila was a French teacher in England when Rob accepted an engineering job in the United States in 1966. With a family of four, they moved to North Tonawanda, NY in 1967 where they lived for 4 years

and had their third son. In 1971 the family moved to New Orleans for a brief stay while their new house was built in Slidell.

She was a very loving and gracious wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as very involved in square dancing with the Tammany Twirlers and in the local tennis leagues with Cross Gates Athletic Club.

Sheila was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
