Sheri Ann Collins, 57, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in Slidell. She was the first baby born January 1, 1969, in Pampa, Texas.

Sheri was a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She had a big heart and loved deeply. She was stubborn as all get out, a little bit of a perfectionist, and had a way of doing things that was uniquely Sheri. She was a cosmetologist who took pride in her work and in making people feel beautiful.

Sheri loved doing crafts and could spend hours creating and perfecting things. Her greatest joy, however, was her family—especially her granddaughters, Poppy and Parker, whom she loved more than anything in this world. Her daughter, Ryleigh, was her greatest accomplishment, and Sheri was incredibly proud of the woman and mother she became.

Sheri will be deeply missed by her parents, Pamela Brooks Cutlip and Kenneth Earl Collins; her daughter, Ryleigh Nicol Winters, and her husband, Jeff Winters Jr.; her beloved granddaughters, Poppy Marie Winters and Parker Michelle Winters; and her sister, Debbie Kay Collins.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Homer Scott Cutlip.

Sheri's love, stubborn spirit, generous heart, and the memories she created with the people she loved will remain with her family forever. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave—especially to her daughter and granddaughters—will continue through the generations.

A Celebration of Life for Sheri will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., services to follow at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Boulevard West, Slidell, Louisiana 70460.

In keeping with Sheri's wishes, guests are encouraged to wear color and celebrate her life with the brightness and joy she brought to those around her.
