Shirley Mae Marsh Temples, age 96, of Slidell, LA passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was born on June 19, 1928, to the late William H. Marsh and Lois Sanders Marsh in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was married to the late Horace Temples for 52 years and was also preceded in death by her brother Calton Marsh.

She is survived by daughters Marsha Temples Dupont (DJ) and Gwendolyn Ann Price (Bill). She is also survived by her sister Dorothy Halsey.

Shirley was deeply loved by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews, her godchild Shirley Anne Wheat, and countless cherished friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.

Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.

Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana.
