Susan Blanchard Collins, Beloved wife of Lee Collins left us on May 11, 2023 at the young age of 57. She was raised in Metairie and most recently lived in Slidell.

She went to be with her one and only precious son, Michael Breaux. She is also joining her parents Ronald and Judy Blanchard. Besides leaving her loving husband Lee Collins, she is also leaving her step-sons Tucker and Tommy Collins, sisters Kelle Robichaux (Ronnie), Jeanie Villafranco (Brian), Sally Trapani (Jake), Aunt Patsy Powell and sister-cousin Angel Lavigne. Along with many nieces and nephews, lifelong friend Jeanine Harrison and her fur-babies Pablo, LuLu, Jack, Beauford, Mia, Demon, Cat-Dog and Cletus.

Her support of volunteerism at no-kill shelters and lifelong passion for taking in rescue animals and rehoming when possible was tireless. Sue leaves behind a strong family that will carry on her love of abandoned and abused animals. In lieu of flowers she would prefer donations to: Nova Star Rescue, 14682 Hwy. 333, Dover Arkansas.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon, followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00pm.
