Teresa "Terry" Engard Farr, 73, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Covington, Louisiana.

Terry was born April 21,1950 in Columbia, Missouri, to Norman and Mary Jane Engard.

In 1991, she moved to Metaire, and Slidell in 1995, from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis T. Farr; brothers, Rodney Engard and Gary Engard.

Terry is survived by her children, Chuck "Mac" Harris (Kelley), Alice Farr Shotwell (Jimmy), James Farr; her brother, Norman Engard; five grandchildren, Kaylie Harris, Hallie Harris, Payton Harris, Taylor Shotwell, Jewel Shotwell; and other relatives.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

For 25 years, she served as Secretary for the Meadowlake Property Owners Association.  As the wife of a veteran, Terry enjoyed participating in many Veterans organizations. Terry served as Past Regional President and Past National Chaplain for the Ladies Auxilary of the Fleet Reserve Association.  She was also past President of the Slidell chapter of the Ladies Auxilary of the American Legion.  Terry took great joy in being a member of the Ladies of Liberty where she helped to send packages to the troops.  She was also an active member of the Slidell Republican Women's Club.
