Obituary

Dennis Todd Mullins, age 60, of Pasadena, Texas, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Marrero, Louisiana.

Born on September 27, 1965, Todd grew up in Louisiana with his parents, Ellen and Cecil Mullins, and his brothers Jeff, Scott, and Toby—a lively household rooted in faith, respect, and energy.
Right out of high school, Todd proudly served in the United States Navy. After returning home, he worked alongside his father as a meat cutter before moving into restaurant management and eventually becoming certified as an instrument technician.

Of all his accomplishments, Todd was most proud of being a dad. Becoming a grandfather— "Papa T"—brought him a renewed sense of purpose and joy that lit up the later years of his life. After the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Karol Ann, it was his grandchildren who helped carry him forward, giving him laughter, comfort, and a reason to keep going.

Todd's faith was a steady and important part of his life, especially in recent years. He spent more time reading his Bible, reflecting, and deepening his relationship with God. He loved his church, Monument Baptist, and found a second family in the community he fondly referred to as his "Saved Savage" church family. Their fellowship, support, and shared faith meant the world to him.

Todd was funny, goofy, and unapologetically himself. If you knew him, you probably have a story that's a little inappropriate—and completely unforgettable—because Todd always said exactly what he thought and struggled to hold anything in, iykyk. He bled purple and gold, never missed a chance to cheer on LSU or the Saints, and loved Harley-Davidsons, old rock, and gospel music. He enjoyed going to the movies by himself (often paying for one and sneaking into two more) and spending time with his three dogs, who were never far from his side.

He will be remembered for his humor, his heart, and the deep love he carried for his family. Todd leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and stories that will live on in the people who loved him most.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Ellen and Cecil Mullins, and his wife, Karol Anne Keene Mullins.

He is survived by his daughter, Abby Moore; grandsons, Stark and Silas Stephens; brothers, Jeff Mullins (Risa), Scott Mullins (Lori), Toby Mullins (Angie); half-brother, Mike McNemar (Tracy), cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
