Virginia Lee Drennan, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born February 18, 1926 to the late William and Evelyn Parsons of Baltimore, MD.

Virginia was a Liberal Arts graduate from Stevens College in Baltimore, MD. She was an accomplished ballroom dance instructor with Arthur Murray Dance Center, a wife to the love of her life, Allan Drennan, and a mother to daughter, Terri Lee Drennan (Deceased) and son, Michael Laurence Drennan.

She enjoyed dancing, drawing, reading and solving crossword puzzles.

Virginia was an amazing woman. Full of personality and generosity.  She was gracious and poised, faithful and honest.  Her strength of character rose above the stress of life's greatest trials and tribulations.  Her love was always true and from the heart.

She was predeceased by her husband of 27 and 1/2 years, Allan Drennan, her daughter Terri L. Drennan, her parents William and Evelyn Parsons, and sister Elizabeth Parsons Carmody.

She is survived by her son Michael L. Drennan and wife Karen, granddaughters Angelique Price, Nicole Price Satkowski and husband Eric, grandson Jon Michael Price, step granddaughters Chontelle B. Boudoin and husband Ricky, Michelle B. Dardar and husband Danny, three great grandchildren: Evelyn, Vivian and Genevieve Satkowski, five step great grandchildren: Ricky, Faith, and Kyle Boudoin, Eli and Tye Dardar, and one step great, great grandson: Kaysen R. Boudoin, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to any animal rescue shelter of your choice.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY at a later date.

Visitation on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
