William A. Segrave, 89, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024, in Slidell.

Billy was born October 9, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 1954, he married Carol Pedelahore in New Orleans.  In 1959, the family moved to Slidell. Billy was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 130 and was a founding member of SBBA Little League Baseball and Football in Slidell. He was also a commercial fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sophie Larmann Segrave Sr.; sons, William "Bubby" Segrave Jr. , David Allen Segrave Sr.; sisters, Audrey Segrave Domecq, Joan Segrave Munch; and a daughter-in-law, Michele Jordan.

He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Carol Pedelahore Segrave; four children, Melinda Pichon, Laura Pohlmann (Jeff), Michael Segrave, Rhonda Estes (Donald Keith); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, 70460.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am.
