Zona Frances Cambre, 79, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Slidell. Born on June 18, 1946, in New Orleans, Zona's deep love for family and animals reflected her gentle and caring spirit. Throughout her life, she found peace and joy near the water- especially at the lake- and she held a special fondness for lighthouses.

She is survived by her four children: Denise Deroam (Ferley), Chris Cambre (Dana), Gina Nelson (John), and Frank Rancatore; and by her eight grandchildren, Daniel, Dylan, Rex, Tyler, Cole, Isabella, Cambrie, and Breille, who were her greatest joy.

Zona will be remembered for her kindness, her love for family, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her.

The family will honor her life with a private service.
